Sizemore (b.1932) served in the armed forces for twenty years and retired at the rank of sergeant 1st class. He enlisted in the Army in 1948 and, during the Korean War, served with the 24th Infantry Division, 34th Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion and the 24th Division, 19th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion.
